Another point... I expect that TJ MAXX just bought up a bunch of the Refurbished iPads and is taking a $50 loss on each to get people in the stores.
The packaging, model and serial numbers indicate that they are new items originally purchased on October 25th, not refurbs.

Hi,
I have bought new battery (original apple) and after full charging it can�t work on battery power. Powerbook shut down directly with disconecting of power cord. The same ocurs with older battery still working in other PB. New battery work normaly in other PB.

If I bought a $450 dollar photo I'd definitely sue! But I'd read the description in full of course!
Don't know about much US law, but I can think of a few challenges to this under UK law off the top of my head. Possibly fraud as well, but only thought about it for a minute or two. If this was ebay.co.uk I'm pretty sure the buyer could get his money back.

Yeah, I dont have component or an HD TV at the moment, I have a better box for wireless than any airportex, and I'd rather have a cheap phone that wont be janked than such a flash phone with only 8gb ipod ability.
I want my widescreen 80gb iPod please.

Not surprised here. When you really look at Verizon-CDMA, why would anyone want that network? Verizon has crippled the iPhone: higher cost of entry, slower network, no data/voice multitasking, no global access, and crippled conference call features (can not add more than 1 and can not drop individual participants).

I hope to get there at about 7AM.
I was able to register about 7AM on the 15th, but have not recieved any confirmation. Hope that all is in order.
Just updated the software on my 3G, but am looking forward to seeing what it is like on the new hardware. Sounds Really Good so far...

What's the point of using Lotus Notes at all?
Any SMART company could be encrypting all their secure e-mail with PGP encryption.
I suppose these IT administrators feel better knowing they can read the content
of all your e-mails which makes their jobs more secure.

This is also the case in the UK. A patently ridiculous stance, given that there is a constant message given on TV and radio that there is a shortage.
I've never been able to donate blood bc of this restriction. I do understand why this provision has not been changed. Though blood is screened, people still receive blood that makes them sick. It amazes me the screening process has not advanced enough to provide more blood.

actually the embargo was a belated response to the japanese invasion of china in 1937 (Shanghai 250,00 chinese killed, Nanking with another 250,00 chinese killed), japan's attack on the soviets in 1938, japan's alliances with nazi germany (the anti-comintern pact in 1936 as an example), the start of WW2 in europe, etc
Among other things we basically placed them under an oil embargo their need for natural resources and they're inability to attain them from us in a peaceful manner encouraged them to invade.....

Anyone here able to get this card working with Lion? I'm running Lion DP2 (with all current updates), and I can't get it working in my 2010 Mac Pro -- nothing I plug in, is being recognized.
Interestingly though, if I go into the 'PCI' section of the system profiler, the card show up properly (even showing that the driver is installed).
