i hope that title isn't too long.
anyway, i'm finally getting out of this place and going back to my apartment tomorrow. so right now i have basically no folding output, but will get everything back up when i get back.
i found out from a friend that my power did go out a day after leaving to come here. i had everything setup and running perfect when i left, and bam! the power flickers and everything went down. i almost wanted to drive 14 hours back!
but instead i got another i7 system, which gives me 3 total. i should have them up and running hopefully by saturday.
i should be good for at least 70-75 PPD. i've been having problems with one of my i7 rigs, so only 2 of them will be doing the bigadv units until i have time to work on it.
but it still should be my best output yet.

Please make iOS more like OS X, not the other way around.
The reason why I won't buy an ipad is because of iOS.

Black berries now touch screen phones are really good. I loved my black berry... Hell i miss it. RIM makes a great smart phone, they are still holding strong to the one thing google and apple want most: Enterprise. ( I think if it ever leaves RIM it will go to Windows Phone.

Depends what you call an OS. In micro-computer parlance Finder is very much a File Manager, same as Nautilus, Dolphin, Norton Commander (or the Midnight Commander clone), ROX-Filer, Windows Explorer, DOSShell etc just to name a few.
It does very little to "operate" the system. It simply provides a user with a UI to manipulate the files found on a filesystem. Of course, an OS doesn't even need a filesystem per say as not all OSes use the file metaphor for storage.
The OS part of the any modern OS is all contained in the kernel, which can usually operate the system without any kind of assistance from userspace. Finder is a userspace app. You could replace it with any other File Manager and still achieve the same basic functionality.

iPhone is a great target because of the "holier than thou" culture that Steve Jobs helped create. And now they come out with a phone with a shatter-prone back, flat/square as a brick, still retains the small 3.5" screen and the antenna problems. This is all excellent fuel for the haters.
Even with all that it's still the best phone out there, but the 4 is an even easier target and it's starting to wobble on it's pedestal. Now, when you pull out an iPhone 4, you can expect "oh, you got one of those."
You can thank Apple for making this all worse with it's stupid design decisions on the iPhone 4. They have a chance to fix a lot of this come June.

Everyone is copying us, we are the benchmark and everyone else should bugger off) and 2)the fanboys who lap it all up and 'spreads the word' like door to door salesmen.
Then, when someone disagrees with them (God forbid), the fanboys call the 'iHaters' retards because obviously the iPhone is the best, Android users are just too poor to afford an iphone and thats why we 'envy' (LOL) iUsers and so on.

Show me another phone that can drop calls from just the position of one finger. Nokia have their problems at the moment, but their reception has always been rock solid.
That only happens in extremely weak signal areas. Other phones will do that too, it just isn't as obvious where to touch it.

I think it could be real. Apple seems to be trying to get away from plastic in their more pretentious, pro-level products. I can see the high-end iPhone being this, with an aluminum body, and the low end $99 model becoming the plastic 3GS. (Similar to the plastic MacBook Consumer model and aluminum MacBook Pro arrangement). They also banned screen protectors and seem to insist don't need anything to protect your iPhone... the metal back would appear more durable. Some people have also been clamoring for a return to original 2G iPhone looks. Maybe they found a way to route cell reception through the front so they can fry our brains even further (creating more Apple zealot zombies in the process).

I wish people would stop making a big deal about this rule that has existed from the beginning of Android. It has ALWAYS been there; it's not something new! The other day one of my android friends and I were talking- I mentioned my phone was about to die and he asked me why (implying that my battery sucked) and then I said "well I haven't charged it since 2 nights ago" and that shut him up real quick. He said he can't get more than a day out of his phone with just average use. I can get two days easy with my iPhone, and believe me, when I get bored at work I don't put my phone down.
