I think due to the extraordinary bad timing of the earthquake in Japan, in the end Apple will have to admit that due to critical parts shortages of iPad 2 components normally made in Japan, they can no longer keep up with demand for the iPad 2, hence the problem with supplying them to Best Buy stores. Don't be surprised that Apple may even announce suspension of all iPad 2 sales and then resume them middle to late summer as the parts supply situation is resolved.

Oh, I could sooooo say something here, but it would probably be considered a racist flame-bait, so I'll just steer clear of it.

The internet has no country lines; you arn't racist, but you may possibly be unsensitive to the enviorment in which you are speaking as there are a lot of people who would like to learn the spanish language outside the United States.
Additionally, please remember that although America's most commonly spoken language is English (or several varients of true English), there is no official national language in the United States. The easiest way to make sure that the U.S. stays mainly english (if you want it to) is by simply refusing to do otherwise. Complaining about people who want to learn another language in an atempt to get your point across only makes you look uneducated and rude (and thus is why people would jump to use the term "racist").

This could not be further from the truth.
You do realize there are plenty of other minorities who are not black right? They don't seem to be having the same problem. Private organisations cannot fine people. The RIAA has levied no fines against individuals. There have been lawsuits and settlements, but not fines. Also, the RIAA cannot bring criminal copyright infringement charges, only civil ones. As such, you can't say "you're criminals". Criminal copyright infringement is not something that is brought against the casual software downloader, it is something that is charged against individuals that are into piracy for profit.
And it's not theft, it's copyright infringement. Theft deprives the true owner of his possession, copyright infringement doesn't.
At least if we're going to argue, let's argue using the proper terms.

I would agree that just because a device has a high MP camera does not mean it will necessarily be a better camera than one of less MP. A great example would be Apples new A5 1Ghz duel core processor and how it dominates the Motorola Xooms 1Ghz duel core processor.
Iphone 4Gs keeps sounding better and better by the rumor. I can not wait to see it released and the new iOS!

GOD! this soooooooo pissssses me off! I'm so in a rage right now... If this story is credible- then we should all join together and boycott Walmart!... I'm so mad - Walmart comes into any size town, drives out other businesses (and doesn't think twice about that!)... and now...!!! they are trying to use their strength to bully the movie studios so they can keep their huge greedy share the way it is... all because iTunes has a new/innovative way to distribute movies!! Greed Greed Greed! I know Steve Jobs has to take a professional stance on this... but we all know what he is really thinking: "F-U WALMART!"

Where is my 2 lb Apple laptop? Sony has one. Panasonic has one.
My prediction: Apple will eventually come out with a 10.6" widescreen "MacBook mini". I think it'll more like 3 lbs, not 2 lbs, though, since that Sony laptop does not have an optical drive. I hope Apple doesn't do away with the optical drive (and I don't think they will), since I think that being a portable DVD player is really a core function of laptops at this point, at least a multimedia and consumer centered laptop (which a MacBook mini would be).
I've seen the Fujitsu 10.6" LifeBook laptops with built-in optical drive and they are sweeeeeeeeeeeet!:

One thing about the Fujitsu computers though - they are *expensive* (about $2000). Gimme a break...just because something is manufactured in the USA does not instantly mean it's pricier to the end consumer. There are a LOT of reasons why businesses invest outside the US and typically at the end of the day it's the COMPANY that wants to SAVE money and KEEP THOSE SAVINGS.
Do you really think the company passes 100% of the savings on to the consumer? How about 50% of those savings. Keep going....
And not complain about Apple's margins?

All good points. Let's leave it as different people in different circumstances. For the record, it's not right for anyone to pirate software. However, there are some people, in some situations, that feel that doing the right thing at the time isn't always the best thing. Definitely no hard feelings - just discussion.
Good discussion I might add. I agree that everyone is going to do what they feel at times. I also see that many of the older generation may have adopted this self-entitlement that the younger generation has.
If one can't afford something, you just won't have it, or have to get it through other means. If those means are illegal, then one will have to deal with the consequences of his/her actions.
