Thanks, that's good information. I actually got caught up trying to finish this function of my App but I plan immediately to deep into books and videos that I already have waiting for me. Believe or not, I'm looking forward to it. I know that as soon as give some time to read over fundamentals like the ones you mention.. it will be easier for and easier for all of you to understand my threads.

However, Aperture is a perfect example of an application that needs more firepower... Thanks for pointing that out. If you can justify the purchase of Aperture to manage images from your $10,000 mega-res SLR, then you can probably afford a desktop workstation to handle it... and write it off as a business expense.

Clearly he could buy a MacBook or a MacBook Pro that better suits him. But you have to understand I see way too many people complaining every year that Apple hasn't produced the gadget to snatch up the money burning a hole in their pockets since... oh, a year ago when they bought that year's latest and greatest.
People say "I'm ready for a new computer" six months to a year after they just bought one... and I find that patently absurd when 90% of the time, the person speaking uses said computer for: internet, email, word processing, music and consumer photo/video.

4. The most rational response would be to realize that a butter knife cannot harm anyone and allow you to carry it on the plane.
I'm going to duck out of this thread but I want to answer this one....

I'm a Nazi zomb expert (and I do mean expert) and let me say that they made it hard this time around. It seems to be made specifically for the cult players. If you couldn't get past lvl 15 in the last levels, you aren't grtting past 4-5 here.
I'm similar... the key to doing well this time around is to communicate with the other players. :p
The classic zombie maps from WaW are a vast improvement this time around, the graphics are much better.

I would try calling XBL support and asking for their supervisor, and that person's supervisor, & so on. Explain to them, (stay firm on your point) the reason you need it and what you can do with it. If you need to, I would mention you are in the process of obtaining a warrant for the IP. As you already know, them not knowing the IP is complete and utter BS.
That is the angle I am going to try today. Microsoft is not very willing to let you talk to the higher-ups. I guess they figure the longer they blow me off, the longer the thieves have to run further away and I'll be stuck buying another 360.
Did you buy the X-Box with a credit card? Some cards offer some kind of protection on stolen items. Could be worth looking into.

Look at us debating this, I am sure Apple is having a hard time determining what to do too! I have a feeling they like it to, but you are correct that it is confusing when there are only two options.
However, this doesn't mean I think it should go away. It just needs a little more tweaking! :D
Also, I am glad they are going with the squarish buttons. It's amazing how more modern it feels compared to the rounded buttons!

For whatever reason, Sprint and Verizon started deploying their 3G networks about three years before T-Mobile and AT&T did. Nothing T-Mobile and AT&T can do about that now, except let Verizon gloat while they continue to try to play catch-up.
I can speak for T-Mo in that they bought their 3G frequency from that public auction. It took the government almost 2 years to move emergency bands off and allow T-Mo to actually use what they bought. The early adopters had an easier transition.

There is not enough time to cover all the material on the California Standardized Test (CST), this week we crammed (American Studies) on WWII to get it covered before the CST in two weeks (26th). Best part is that plenty of the material is on civil rights+cold war.

Just to put everybody's mind at ease. These are the guys who predicted the arrival of a G5 iBook in early 2005.
They have never, ever been right.
Not only are they always wrong, their rumors don't even make sense. AMD doesn't have a competitive notebook CPU and can't deliver in the scale Apple needs. These guys can't even fabricate a decent lie.

If you don't like Bush fine, but he HAD NO RIGHT to say what he said especially in the venue that he was in.
His ignorant comments cost donated money to the victims plan and simple.
Yet you fail to see the bigger picture. They shouldn't have had to raise the funds in the short time they had if idiot Bush was competent enough not to hire an incompetent director for FEMA or made the idiotic decision to add another layer of bureaucracy when placed under Homeland Security.
