i recently got a ps3 slim, does ps3 folding rely on ps3 linux?
i don't think so. i'm pretty sure folding works on the slim. it's inside "life with playstation" or something like that.

Well anyone with a G5 or Mac Pro should not even question the upgrade as it brings a full 64bit OS to your machine. Couple that with point upgrades to applications to 64bit and you have some massive memory enhancements.

Maybe a sign of universal iOS+Mac apps?
Seems most likely since the placeholder has 'Mac' in the title.

Agreed, I don't think this will stop or slow anything. Knowing he is dead though is a good thing.

Brea Mall update:
Two employees came by about 10 minutes ago. They were counting the line, I am #204. line is at ~250-300, and they cannot guarantee stock for anyone just now getting here. For those who do come, I'm wearing a vintage Apple Mission Impossible shirt and am across from red robin.

I was going to vote for Nies, but I'm pretty sure he's not a WW, so I'm going for -aggie-. It appears everyone else is smelling blood in the water and jumping into the feeding frenzy. I'll just keep my insights to myself for spite then.

That doesn't say anything remotely similar to "envisioned by apple." either. In fact, from your own article, try this link :

Let's not give a bigger role to Apple than the one they played.

They won't. Even if this deal gets approved, T-Mobile will remain a separate company. Everything will remain as it is, except the fact that all revenue will go to AT&T.
this is probably what they were saying over at the Cingular offices at the time of that deal...Tmobile will be independent NOW...once the deal is finalized...no more Tmobile just the Death Star

Great. Really screwed a lot of the world on pricing. In the UK, we have 20% VAT, but that doesn't mean that Apple should then scrape an additional 200 on top of this thinking users won't notice.
And don't just say it's more expensive. They are all manufactured in China.
Okay, let's work it through.
Base iMac is $1,199 and 999. $1,199 is currently 727 in a straight conversion. So let's see:
727 * 1.20 = 872.40 (VAT)
727 * 1.08 = 58.16 (Additional cost of doing business in UK)
872.40 + 58.16 = 930.56
Difference: 68.44
Now I can never remember how this works but I *think* there's an additional 3.5% import duty which would account for a further 25.45 which brings the extra cost down to 42.99, or just about 6% of the US price. Considering Apple also have to allow for currency changes that's hardly a rip off.

On another note - wouldn't you hate to be an Apple content developer? You're working hard, just finishing up on a new piece of code... hoping there aren't any errors.

[mDeviceList addObject @"ix.Mac.MarketingName"];
...
You put it live, relax, sit back, check out some RSS feeds for a break. The first item:
"What is ix.Mac.MarketingName and what does it mean for Apple's future plans?" Aiiiiiiiiiiieeeeeeeeeeee!

TheRegister seems to reckon it's not due until 2012:
http://www.theregister.co.uk/2011/04/12/iphone_delay/
There's been some debate on whether these articles are talking about Apple's fiscal year 2012 which begins in 2011....or the calendar year 2012.
Personally, I tend to think maybe these rumors are right and Apple is shifting the iPhone announcements to the fall moving forward. That would give them more time to focus on software at WWDC each year, with new hardware in the fall, in time for the holiday season.
