Since no one is against eliminating fraud on H1/L1 - atleast on this forum - is there any chance we can request messrs Durbib/Grassley to tack on issues/amendments to prefile 485 or polish AC21 to its true intent of freeing up workers? maybe they wont accede but atleast it will end up calling them out ontheir bluff of supporting worker rights and expose their fierce hatred of immigrants..

I agree to what you say. The intend of this thred is not to support/oppose the outsourcing/offshoring the jobs. The intent of this thred is the fradulent use of L1s by the offshoring companies.
If these companies play as per law then there is no issue. Everything is OK in moderation even outsourcing or offshoring. However these companies does fraudulent use of the L1s. They send endless people in L1s. Even if the person does not have hire/fire authority he/she is sent as L1A. General java/Oracle/.net developers are sent in L1A or L1B.
These people with L1s are placed at client location and they work under supervision of client manager. False names are shown in the chart under these L1As benefeciary when they are applied for renewals.
These things should be reported and should not be supported.
Falsifying information is not right. If you have credible information and knowledge - write about this in detail. Let people know, what's going on.

Why would they think like that?, USCIS made a mistake. They tried to cover (by making visas unavailable) their ass to save their jobs. Thats why we have congress to help us out.
For USCIS its a bad publicity.

Make sure that 5882 is successful. If it proceeds, I will back down. It is a shame that among 25K members raising 5K becomes a challenge.
This goes on to show there is no community. If there is not community then I have to look after my interest.

I just contacted my senator's local office .working on the letters now .Thanks IV for coming up with this wonderful initiative..I hope our community gathers around and works together to make this a success , please put bickering and cynicism to rest for sometime and work pro actively on this new IV action item..

I think this is much easier for hundreds of people to participate as its easy, doesent take up too much time etc. and brings about our points across as compared to DC rally (please dont get me wrong here it was great but difficult for lot of people to attend because of various reasons). I totally support the blood donation idea. I am pretty sure, a blood donation drive would be front page news on American Red Cross web site also. It should send out a message that the GC is so important to us.
The actual collection of blood hopefully will be fully carried out by the American Red Cross.
