Hello,
It will take hours. Let's put it this way; for one letter that is animated to spin, the file size is about 14-20k. Now 10 letters that are animated to spin will be around 200k alone. The process time does take hours.
It all depends on what configuration you have (AMD K6-2 550). On my PC it takes about 30 mins (P3 933), but that is still a long time to watch the Ravix processor draw all the lines individualy. What I usually do for large Swift 3D files, is simply export the outlines only. Then inside flash, I lay the movies on top of each other. So when they move, it creates an illusionary effect. For web based publishing, Swift 3D is just not a program that creates small files.

Yes..you can apply for AP. It is the only way you can reenter into US. I applied for my F1 (spouse) too.
Yes you can write that same reason for the AP appplication.
BTW your F1 is not valid anymore since you showed immigration intent. You are still legal status. If you have Tuition waver/ Stipend or oncampus job...you should also apply for EAD so that you can continue to earn money.
DO check with International office in your university.

Once your 290B is approved, your 485 goes back to pending status from denial and 485 is related to your priority date. When is that?

The now-public draft, leaked without the permission of USCIS, examines the legal framework of immigration and explores possible solutions. AILA commends this reflection of the pursuit of the rule of law and the willingness of USCIS leadership to take up this thorough examination.
"We have in the past seen many attempts to scour the law to find justification for draconian, and ultimately unhelpful, ways to make immigrants' lives miserable," said AILA president David Leopold. "This draft document tries to think through ways to make the legal immigration system work in support of sensible law enforcement. It respects the law and respects the people who must deal with the law. For that, the administration is to be congratulated, even if none of the proposals is ever carried out." He added that many of these proposals should be carried out. Long-needed regulations to help children and crime victims caught in the system should be published. Men and women fighting for America in the U.S. military should have the comfort of knowing that their families are safe from being deported. Immigration policies that encourage investment in America and creation of jobs should be emphasized and expanded. These are but a few of several excellent proposals in this document.

Let us be very clear, we are MORE THAN WILLING to associate with any org that can be beneficial to us. One of the members of IV had established contact with USINPAC and it has been a very fruitful association
If anyone can do the same thing with any other org (could be 'Chinese Physicians Association', or 'Russians in America' or 'Canadians in USA' or even 'Americans for High Skilled Immigrants' - please note that I made up all the names, but please get the gist) please take the inititative and let us know how it goes.
Also note, that even if we associate with an org primarily working for a particular country, all our issues will benefit EVERYONE from every country. It is impossible to press for an amendment like 'Ability to file I485 without regard to visa number for Indian Nationals only'. The US Government doesn't allow that and neither will IV go in that direction.
The keywords here are 'publicity and exposure'. We really need that to protect our amendments in the Senate and the House Conference

Hi,
I have a friend in India who applied to a new H1B through a consultant, was lucky to get through the lottery but is now stuck in RFE because of issues with the consultant. He heard from someone else that the same consultant is getting rejects and is nervous that his case will get rejected too.
I've heard that while a H1B case is pending (before it is denied), one can apply a separate petition from another employer and is still considered a valid application that is within the quota as it is for the same applicant.
Does anyone have experience in this area? What do you recommend? I also plan to contact an attorney regarding this to help my friend.

Did you get the finger Print Notice?
My case was also transeferred from NSC to CSC and then back to NSC. I got the receipt and tranfer notice but no finger print notice yet.

This is true even if the couple is legally married in their home country. Often, the "dependent" partner must apply for a B-2 visitor visa at the consulate, to accompany his/her partner. This visa is discretionary, and consulates could refuse to issue it. In addition, B-2 status does not allow the dependent partner to work in the US. Many heterosexual dependent spouses have a status that doesn't allow them to work either, however.

According to this document, if you switch jobs it IS better to file the AC21 and inform the USCIS, just in case trhe employer decides to reovke the I-140.

Since AC21 does not go in any official USCIS form, it is better to attach with G-28. My attorney did that and USCIS had acknowledged their receipt of the G-28 and supporting documents. The Ack was a letter to me and the attorney when my (new) attorney opened a service request inquiring the attorney of record after 4 weeks of filing G-28 and AC21 documents.

Hi,
I'm trying to schedule my visa stamping date in aug /sept time frame in India. In delhi consulate when I click on Indian resident I see the available dates but when I click on Indian citizen residing in US, I see no availability. I'm not sure which option should I choose. I'm a student working on OPT in US. My OPT will expire on Aug 4th and so I will come to India. I'm not sure which of the two options I have to choose while scheduling an interview :
Resident of India/Bhutan
OR
Indian Citizen residing in United States.
I would really appreciate any help in this matter.

Hi all,
I think my scenario is little complicated.I have my I140 (EB3) cleared with previous employer and my current company has filed new labor and I140 (EB2). They are trying to capture the priority date of my old I140 approval (August 2006).
While my current I140 is still going on, can I apply for I1-485 due to sudden improvement shown for EB2 category in September Visa bulletin.
Please advice.

I believe that is still possible. There is some talk about discontinuing the concurrent application process, but it is not a rule yet. so you should be able to apply. Talk to your lawyer about it.

Has anyone used ICE MILLER as their legal counsel (immigration attorneys)?
I am planning to use AC-21 provisions to change jobs. My new employer is going to use ICE MILLER in Indianapolis to process my H1-B transfer.
I was wondering if anyone could share his/her experience with their staff and general suggestions. I would like to use them for any RFEs or filing any AC-21related documents.
