Do you all ever wonder why 1996 to 2000 was great and the economy never went to quite the 2000 levels? It is because of useless wars and getting the job shipped to other countries. That is the republican agenda. If you think you will have a better chance of green card under Republican rule, you are sadly mistaken. The economy will continue to go down, while there will be another Iran war to turn the attention from problems with economy. We need someone who can think clear and be steady. 1) is it safer to wait for RN and then submit this letter as evidence quoting the A# assigned, I think that would be wise for a concurrenly filed application. My lawyer said that if its concurrently filed, the letter accompanying the i-140 is sufficient and 2 letters are not required. But if the i-485 is on it own then an employment letter must accompany the form.
Different lawyers are providing different opinions on this. To follow the letter of the law, you MUST submit the employer letter.

On one hand we have Sen. McCain, guided by Sen. Martinez and the hispanic lobby on immigration reform favoring family based immigration applicants. Also Limbaugh and Hannity followers will be ready to demand their peice of meat after election and will go to any extent to protect the white character of middle America.
On the other hand we have Sen. Obama, guided by the man we love to hate Sen. Dick Durbin, who is ready to put on the squeeze of programs like H1B and the EB PR. Also the Dems as a political party are more interested in attracting new less educated immigrants to their side.
Our only saving grace Corporate America, right now is not neither enjoying any patronage nor any good reputation on Capital Hill.
Guess it is going to be a long wait for us 'Highly Skilled Legal Tax Paying Immigrants' before we are going to be embraced by the American dream.

I dont think legally you can sue someone, because they have worked harder.
I posted this link , so that everybody may know the legal reasons, which we can be presented in a court of law.
If this lawsuit is accepted by the court , then the USCIS lawyers would tell what exactly happened.
I till now personally believe , that the USCIS/DOS hasnt broken any law.
They may have however changed a pettern,process , but no law has been broken.
Everybody knows they didn't broke the law, but the way they followed is wrong.
I saw somebody suing her company because her colleagues are using perfumes. If this kind of US, then why should we leave them for this disaster.
What they broke is "They need to give prior notice in advance". They cannot give one-hour or one-min notice. They haven't given one-min notice also. It is outrageous. So, please don't say that they didn't broke any law.
Do you know what does it mean by notice? It should be given well in advance if you want to convey something.
They completely broke all those ethical laws.

For those states that required for you to prove your valid immigration status when applying for a state ID, a gentle plea to the cop that the state couldn't have issued your ID unless they verify your status, might work!

Somebody with Nov05 PD tried to renew EAD and was given a 3 month EAD.......
Use of "01" instead of "10" has been common mistake by USCIS. I came across couple of such cases. This is typo error and they will fix it.

The real face of America, as we used to see it in India is in full light. Hypocrisy under the name of protecting country's job. I agree with Ash's post that in its substance that unlike holocaust, we are not being killed, however; we are being thrown out just like ethnic Indians were thrown out of Uganda by its dictator. This is not much different.
I understand some people making an argument that this is demand vs supply. But what logic does it make to go aggressively after those who have spent 5-10 years in this country and followed almost everything legally? and at the same time those who are voters , provide them benefits with our tax paid money.
Problem is not them , problem is us. We left our country sick of reservation etc., So our community was sidelined by the politicians in India and we came here foregoing our "voting rights". Hence politicians here dont care about us. We gave up where we belonged to looking for "shortcut" to success only to be deceived by opportunist Americans dangling carrots of green cards and better life.
They are career politicians and they care only about elections and votes. So this is nothing but vote bank politics.
I understand some people making an argument that this is demand vs supply. You should have stayed back with this blood sucker or whatever name you want to say at least until 6 months after filing I-485. Whole IT world knows that AC-21 is safe after 180 days, even if the greedy employer revoke I-140, you were eligible for AC-21 portability.
Anyways now that you know the I-140 was revoked, find out when did he do that and if he has done that 180 days after your filing your I-485, you can still win your case by hiring a good attorney who can demonstarte to USCIS that your employment circumstances forced you to resign from the blood sucker and your adjustment application should be looked at as AC-21 portability.
You still consider you r the smart guy and can handle this RFE very well, then I can only wish you a good luck.
