Buddy, your tone sounds hostile and as I said we're staying here by choice - but let me tell you this, after getting an MBA (with financial aid) from a decent school here, staying here for a decade, getting into upper management of a large company and having US born kids, I'm relocating to India after the summer. I've just secured admission for my first born from here and it went without a single glitch.
So, YES, I've tried it, I'm pretty darn willing to and I got a strong pair of balls!

I want to take this opportunity to introduce you to this new effort taken up by a group of people badly hit by the immigration delays or we can say immigration black out in U.S..
http://www.immigrationvoice.org is a banner under which we are getting together to
1) Find solution to employment based greed card retrogression
2) Labor delay in the backlog centers.
All the members of this non-profit organization are facing severe problems due to these issues. We have started the awareness drive and professional strategic help (lobbying) efforts have started for the new Comprehensive immigration reform bill due on the floor of the Senate and House in Spring of-06. To make a difference and to have the new law passed in the way the current visa retrogression & Backlog center delays cane be addresssed with the new bill, I would request you to please spread this message or forward the email to as many people as possible.

This flyer is to create awareness for this effort and add to the ongoing membership drive for http://www.immigrationvoice.org to find solution to Green Card Retrogression problem as well as the backlog centers. Per my attorney and several forums i researched a second FP Is generally sent when your case is about ready to be approved and normally a good sign as they can approve GC and ask for FP after that before sending you cards. However in one forum i found someone posted a DHS release from 2007 describing the FP data is switched to digital storage in a system called BSS and will remain valid for 75 years, thus one theory says that if your first FP was done digitally you may not need second FO and IO can access the results of first FP and approve. But who knows what is true, all of these are speculations.
I have not got second FP notice either and my first and only FP happened in Nov 2007.
I got a 2nd FP notice for 485. I will be current next month. I also applied for AP last month, which got approved yesterday. Not sure if AP application triggerred the FP notice or if there is a chance I can get approved next month??

I saw that Logiclife mentioned that the head will be from michigan. I am from michigan and a lot of my buddies also visit this site regularly. Let us know if we can make a difference. Please let us know what can we do to help our cause here. I am ready to drive, meet, talk to any one I can to push things here. I dont know how much of an impact that would be, but even a little can help.

If there is unity, and all of us walk out with all our money, this would definitely get the attention of the lawmakers.
I suggested the same action last year. Right now, waiting for 485 (EB 2 LC took close to 6 years) - but I feel if 20-30K of us left (and take our money with us too, don't leave it here to work for this country) because we are being screwed by the stupid immigration laws, that will have a bigger impact in changing the laws than any lobbying effort possibly would.

Here is my recent experience,
in the month of april my wife and I had received RFEs for 325 and birth certificate, we submitted the evidence and there was soft LUDs for almost a week, case status said a decision will be made in 60 days. I t is more than 90 days, so I called up the customer service (I very well know that they can't issue GC as the priority date is not current) I spoke to her as a layman and filed for a service request. Here is the email that I got:
Dear Mr. XXX:
On 07/27/2009 you, or the designated representative shown below, contacted us about your case. Some of the key information given to us at that time was the following:

When I check case status online for my 765 Application, it is showing
Application Type: I765, APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION
Current Status: Approval notice sent.
On November 21, 2007, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I765 APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service.
I haven't yet received EAD. How long it usualy take to get EAD after this status. Any Idea??
