Most personal finance books will tell you that cash life policies (such as Universal Life) are financially bad investments. They are laced with all sorts of fees, which is why salespeople recommend them.
I was proposing for combination. Not 100% UL. Only an agent can find a sweet spot of this combination. Instead if 100% term (ex. $35/mo for 30 years = $12,600). How about 20% UL and 80% term? In this case probably you will get 2 or 3K back (which is not bad instead of loosing entire amount). I was not suggesting Life Insurance as investment, sorry for not being clear. I met with my agent 3 times discussed all options and it worked out well for me.

Senators Graham and Schumer began to put pen to paper last week by laying out a four pillared framework for immigration reform: ending illegal employment through biometric Social Security cards, enhancing border and interior enforcement, managing the flow of future immigration to correspond to economic realities, and creating a tough but fair path toward legalization for the 11 million people currently in the U.S. without authorization. While I have serious questions about a couple of the proposals�the biometric Social Security card raises important privacy concerns for example�I am encouraged that with the passage of healthcare reform immigration will now move to the front burner. USCIS is doing this to me the second time. They did the same with my EB3 I-140 and now with my EB2 I-140! I am really upset about the way this lazy NSC is handling I-140s.
My EB2 I-140 was filed with premium processing on 9/2/2010. Today is 09/16 already and there are no hopes of my case getting touched or approved in 1 day! How do I know, because there are no LUDs since 09/03 (when the premium processing receipt issued).
Same thing happened with my EB3 case when I requested for premium processing (at NSC) they gave back the premium fee and said they cannot complete the case with in 15 days! So why are they even having this premium service to fool around....
Is there any thing that I could do about this?

Chennai consulate would take 1 or 2 days for processing. You can send an email to them or talk to VFS and request if they can re-schedule it for earlier date.
Wen you do not have much time, you should not take any chance. Try to reschedule it in Delhi or Bombay.

Hello Guys help me out
I have been in USA from last 3 years on student visa. I was first in 1 university and finished my Masters there and than moved to other university for 2nd master
Between the gap of transferring the school I started a small business online which went off good and is still going on. the beauty of business is that its everything online so it does not matter if I stay in USA or not.
Real problem is here: I just got engaged and getting married in June. So my wish is to bring my wife here for few months, show her around and than go back permanently.
University in which I am doing 2nd MS is not accredited and giving me hard time by saying that they will drop me off if I dont concentrate. Now I cannot go to school and attend classes because I have to handle the business.
Now I am thinking of leaving USA in April and leave the school too from between. These will give the end to student visa and the fees which I am paying every semester. Than I am thinking to apply back as a visitor visa in August which I will get for 10 years.
I dont want to stay here in USA just want to come from time to time as I like it here. My question is should I continue school and bring my wife on dependent visa or should I leave the school and apply for tourist visa again?
I see more changes in 2nd one because consulate can also understand that I didnt wanted to stay in USA even when my student visa was valid so why I will overstay on Tourist visa. Also I have good balance and good properties In India by my name. I am the only son to my parents
So I dont see any reason to get rejected?. But please give your suggestion

If they accepted the expedite request, you should get the EAD in your hands within 2-3 weeks.
You cannot work with an expired EAD. Legally, you can work from the day when the renewal EAD gets approved. Some employers insist the production of physical EAD to allow us to continue working. Some employers (few) allow you to work, if the EAD application has been approved. It is not advisable/legal to work when your current EAD is expired and the new one has not yet approved.
You do not have to quit your job. You can go on leave/vacation, if you have leave balance. Else you can go on "Leave without Pay". You do not have to leave the country in no circumstances, because your status is "Adjustment of Stats/I-485 Pending" which in no way gets affected by the expiry of the EAD. If it is not going to come on time, you just have to enjoy one or two weeks of vacation.
Talk to your HR regarding the different options.

My attorney is saying they can file MTR on "USCIS's own motion" with that we don't have to pay the application fee of $585? This is something new to me, but I trust my attorney.
Has anyone else heard of this before? I just want to double check as the last thing I want is USCIS denying my MTR for not filing with the fee.

Can someone confirm if finger printing required for both paper (by mail) and on-line AP application? Somewhere I read that finger printing is required only for on-line applicants. Is that true?
It will save me lot of trouble as my nearest INS office for finger printing is about 150 miles away.

Hi,
I received RFE on my 485 for I94 copy. My situation is below
I travelled to Tijuana, Mexico from San Diego by road to request
for new I94 at the US Port of Entry at San Ysidro, Tijuana as my old I94
was issued only until PP expiry date but since i already had a valid I94 on H1B notice, The officer didn't issue a new white I94 card even though i requested for one. Also, The officer took my earlier old white I94 card, so i don't have one with me now though i have a copy
of it. Also USCIS is asking for a detailed explanation on why new I94 was not issued at POE. please advise on how to respond to this RFE

No bill was introduced in Senate. Where is the question of voting? If anti immigrants some how make waste these 2 weeks of time in Senate then there will not be enough time to discuss. Now 60% chance. If no bill is introduced in Senate before end of may it will come down to 40%.

Where I live in a chicago suburb, we got flooded in the last 3 years with them, it is just insane the amount of people who arrived in such a short time,
